travel advice
Most people drive to Vermont because public transportation is not readily available everywhere in rural southern Vermont. However, if you don't drive or would like to hire a car, you can take Amtrak's Vermonter from Washington D.C., New York City, Connecticut, or Massachusetts. You would get off the train at either the Brattleboro, Vermont or Bellows Falls, Vermont train stations. You can then take a local taxi service from either train station but we recommend arranging transportation with us to ensure a smooth and timely arrival to the Inn.
